Roadway Seal Update

Roadway Seal Update – The sealing of the roadways that was planned for Leafy Dell, Concord Crossing, Concord Crossing East and Rolling Meadows has been postponed due to the delays in pavement repair. We do not have a revised schedule at this time. Residents will be notified by door hanger once a schedule is determined. There is still restriction on on-street parking so that the cracks can be repaired.

Public Notice: Hydrant flushing

Annual Hydrant Flushing Schedule for 2014

The Village of Johnstown Water Department will be flushing hydrants weekdays between the hours of 7am to 5pm through the month of September.

Hydrant flushing is an important preventative maintenance procedure that helps us to ensure that our hydrants are working properly and to remove accumulated sediment in the water mains.  Residents may notice lower than normal pressure, air in the lines or slight discoloration of water.  If you experience some discolored water, let the cold water tap run for a few minutes and it should clear up.

If a problem continues please call Patti Barlitt at 740-967-1139.
