ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS/PUBLIC NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Sealed bids will be received at the Village Hall, 599 S. Main Street, Suite A, Johnstown, Ohio 43031 until 10:00 a.m. on June 6, 2019 and will be opened and read immediately thereafter for the S. KASSON STREET – PHASE I OPINION OF PROBABLE CONSTRUCTION COST: $392,000.00 COMPLETION DATE:  SEPTEMBER 30, 2019 OPWC FUNDED PROJECT

Bids must be in accordance with specifications and on forms available from CT Consultants, Inc., 8150 Sterling Court, Mentor, Ohio 44060 at a non-refundable cost of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) picked up or One Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars ($125.00) mailed.

The bid specifications, drawings, plan holders list, addenda, and other bid information may be obtained via the internet at www.ctconsultants.com/bidinfo/index.html .  The bidder shall be responsible to check for Addenda and obtain same from the web site.   All bidders are required to attend a mandatory Pre-bid Conference on May 28, 2019 at  10:00 a.m. at Village Hall,  599 S. Main Street, Suite A, Johnstown, Ohio 43031.  Failure to attend the Pre-bid Conference will subject the bidders’ proposal to be considered non-responsive.

All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required.

DOMESTIC STEEL USE REQUIREMENTS AS SPECIFIED IN SECTION 153.011 OF THE REVISED CODE APPLY TO THIS PROJECT. COPIES OF SECTION 153.011 OF THE REVISED CODE CAN BE OBTAINED FROM THE OFFICE OF THE OHIO FACILITIES CONSTRUCTION COMMISSION.
