Johnstown City Council is accepting letters of interest
for terms on the following boards:

Greater Johnstown Park & Recreation District (GJPRD) Board of Trustees.
Two-year term. Applicants must be a resident of the City of Johnstown. The mission is to provide responsible development, management, coordination and equitable access to recreational facilities, programs and activities for residents of the Johnstown-Monroe Local School District to strengthen community health, wellness and spirit, providing community programming in recreational, educational, social, cultural and athletic areas; acquire property for constructing, operating and maintaining parks, playgrounds, play fields; and to preserve and protect real property with valuable natural features as parks and spaces for recreational activities for the benefit of all citizens.

Personnel Board of Review
Three-year term. Applicants must be a resident of the City of Johnstown. The Personnel Board of Review shall have the power and duty to hear appeals from administrative determinations made pursuant to the Code of Personnel Practices and Procedures, and such other powers, duties and functions as provided by Council.  The judgment of the Personnel Board of Review, for purposes of the Municipality, shall be final.

Charter Review Commission
Two open seats. Applicants must be a resident of the City of Johnstown. The Charter Review Commission is tasked with the review of the current Charter of Johnstown, Ohio and recommending any alterations, revisions and amendments to City Council.

Johnstown New Community Authority Board of Trustees
One partial term expiring 9/17/27. The appointed citizen member will represent the interests of the present and future residents and employers of the New Community Authority’s District.
