RxCollect is a pilot program designed for continuous collection and proper disposal of prescription and over the counter medications spearheaded by the Licking County Prescription Drug Task Force.

The drop box is located inside the Police Department, medications can be dropped off Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (Closed on Holidays)

On occasion the hours may change without notice.

All medication must be placed into a sealable bag and given to the Police Clerk. You will be responsible for disposing of the bottles.

Items Accepted for Disposal Include:

• Unused and expired prescription drugs

• Unused and expired over-the-counter medications

• Vitamins

• Pet medications

Please Do Not Attempt to Dispose the Following:

• Needles, syringes and lancets

• Inhalers

• Ointments, creams, or lotions

• Liquid medications, such as cough syrups
